Bring up a PowerPoint slide in your web conferencing software and drag and drop live while you’re on the phone. I know a local author who recently tried and then abandoned software for planning a novel.

Usually I find the PPT driven approach, due to it. If you want to learn how to build courses in the authoring tool, then yes, there are quite a few.
