Buying fonts can be pricey if you don’t have a budget but want a lot of choices. Font Stock. If you’re interested in a workshop in your area, have your local ISPI or ASTD chapter contact me. I don’t have a large budget or a lot of time, but I’d like to use more video in my courses. We discussed it in this blog post on finding free stock images. Usually the local ASTD, ISPI, or STC chapters contact me about doing workshops. It was a great time of meeting many of you and learning more about what you do.

So now’s a good time to offer some quick answers and links to additional resources for those just getting started, I have no budget. The first thing I recommend is to ask for a budget. If you do get a budget then you can stretch your money by purchasing the lower resolution images. Where can I get free elearning assets?

It doesn’t matter if you’re from a big company or small; odds are you are working on a limited budget. If you have a budget you can buy stock images, but if you don’t AND you don’t want to use clip art then taking your own photos is easy enough, especially nowadays with the digital cameras. People don’t have money.
