Old-school LMS companies (like SumTotal , Plateau , Learn.com , GeoLearning and Certpoint ) were acquired by much larger talent and HR-suite providers like SAP/SuccessFactors , Infor , Oracle and IBM. The world lurched forward into a new level of digital transformation and everything changed along with it.

If you do, use a translate such as Google Translate to change it to your native language. CertPoint was a consideration as well, and they do offer mobile learning with some social learning. Tango is a different product line from CertPoint – fyi. This area (an upcoming blog post) is dynamically changing.

A real concern though occurred when I asked the salesperson, if the administrator could turn on/off or change the labels on the front of the LMS (for example: it comes standard with “Course Catalog&# , but you want to change it or turn it off). I said excuse me, HTML?

They include: Offers a note section – i.e. the person creating the courses or SMEs or reviewers can leave notes, comments, recommend changes, often time stamped, date stamped. The system is going though some changes, and a new release is scheduled in the winter, which I surmise is Q4 or Q1 2016. The UI angle is somewhat misleading, because while they have done some UI changes – and it looks way better – in other areas the UI enhancements have yet to be seen. Wait, wrong movie. Oracle Taleo.
