Of course, having the conference free makes it a bit easier to attract attendees. presentation were much more sophisticated that audiences at ASTD, ISPI and even the eLearningGuild. Social Bookmarking and Wikis and Blogs are a form of social networking I never said this, but several people pointed it out in the chat.

How do we do this in the social network environment? And, I think that the course fell right into this trap. Maybe this is partly design, but it's also how conversation, content spread across social networks. Of course, that would lead to even worse scattering. Most of the audience wasn't familiar with social bookmarking. Of course, that's going to be a big conflict with my issues of time. Of course, what would be even more gratifying is to see comments and blog posts from people in the room. Lots of good energy in the room. Let's see if that's true with ASTD.
