eLearning: Adobe Captivate and Microsoft PowerPoint

If you're using a legacy version of Captivate (even version 4 and 5), the steps below will work for you just fine.   During a standard import process, PowerPoint pptx presentations are first converted to the ppt format and then converted to SWF. Also, the ability to import PowerPoint presentations isn't new.

Adobe Captivate

If you do not have the 2017 release of Adobe Captivate, download a trial version of Captivate. If you are on a Mac, you’ll find your installed version of Captivate under Applications. To import the PPT, click File > New Project > Project from MS PowerPoint. In the Publish dialog, select the SWF/HTML5 tab (top left).
