Unless a person is viewing it on an iPad device or other tablets OR viewing it on their HDTV device or monitor, I just don’t see the gain. Less vendors are offering the HTML5 output, which seems to be strange, especially as more e-learning vendors as a whole are jumping right in. E-Learning 24/7.

But, the reason I constantly bash this into e-learning vendors heads is this just DON’T GET IT. Yet, a majority of vendors in the e-learning space as a whole, are just not doing it. For consumers in general, smartphones are number one in the market, then PGPs (Portable Game Players) and so on.

Clever and logical features, especially when it comes to emerging technology with e-learning. Offer an option for people who do not want to be contacted by your company/sales person, trust me, people like this, and if they like your product they still will buy it. Spell checker, multi-lingual capability.

The only real gain for survey tools – specifically polling – is the mobile real time polling option, but even then, it is starting to slide into some learning platforms. That said, if I was looking to enter the e-learning space, I wouldn’t choose the standalone survey, assessment or combination of the two market.
