Every LMS vendor should have a standard regarding response times, when they receive an inquiry via the internet. I know of one vendor who responds within 30 minutes of receiving an inquiry. LMS Products of the Year 2010. A lot of great products out there this year, new updates and latest versions; new companies, new services and just some real innovation. I include Learning Portals, LCMSs, as part of the mix. Big Dog (Saba, SumTotal, Plateau, Cornerstone OnDemand, Learn.com). Saba does a good job as well.

Sales service – in my experience awful. . #22 20 Saba Learning Suite. With its m-learning capability including on/off synch and rather solid UI, the product continues to be an effective solution. Feature wise the product is impressive. 18 Upside Learning. It’s sickening. 19 WBT Top Class .

What I like about conferences is the ability to see the latest products and hear the pitches from the vendors. Regardless, you need to have your product out and showing. Yet, for all that do it, their are equal number of vendors who do not. their own sales folks) and type of product they are pitching.

Q : I am curious on why Cornerstone On Demand, Saba and SumTotal do not appear in your top twenty lists even though they appear on other sites as the best products in the market. While the learning cloud and extended enterprise cloud are purchased by folks, I still see the platform – assuming you get all the modules as a HCM.

Despite overall consumer demand (not just within e-learning) for tablets, and numbers showing that tablets are outselling notebooks, e-learning vendors as whole are sitting back and waiting. Latitude Learning – only if you have the open source solution and you must add TinCan API on your own.

I’m tired of telling people that it is better to buy 3rd party courses through you even though they can get a better deal by going straight to the 3rd party vendor. #5 I’m calling out Saba. That’s right, Saba and their wonderful salesperson HSwidget (name withheld). 1 I’m a number in your sales cycle.
