Several large LMS companies added “informal learning&# to their sales shticks this week. One says “All documents accessed can be tracked as informal learning events.&# (Documents are events?) Related: Informal Snake Oil. What really is informal learning? It’s a joke.).

Learning content will be transformed for easier consumption. Success metrics for learning will be based on content access, views, involvement and downloads. Learning leaders will be more focused on relevancy of information. Interestingly, it's Xyleme - an LCMS vendor that is sponsoring the site.
