Shelly Blake-Plock announced last night via LinkedIn that he would be leading a Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for IEEE LTSC (Learning Technologies Standards Committee). My version: We’re glad the initial purpose of this group points toward standardization. He’s pretty well informed. rather than evolution.

Part of the problem though is that there is a lot of information out there, some of it erroneous in nature and honestly, equally confusing. This work informed the conversations with several current and former ADL friends. Last heard ADL calls this new standard the Experience API? (on I was told xAPI is in IEEE’s hands?
