The data shows that what many vendors assume end users want is far from accurate. Too many vendors are focusing on talent/performance management as the next feature/component in their systems.

From an interaction (listed as interactivity) to a feature within the product. Because the industry as a whole is a lemming, I expect more vendors to come on board. Web conferencing or chat rooms – I know it might come as a shock but WebEx was alive and in full mode in 2000 and so was Centra – remember them? E-Commerce. Customized skinning – albeit in today’s market there are some vendors who charge for skins – disgusting! Forums and discussion boards.

The product comes in two flavors – a simple and a more robust. SaaS product – but here’s the thing – if you want the course to be in your LMS – it can but it still sits on the ZZ server side and not in your system (should note that the LMS connectivity is available only in the $40/u version).

Out in 2000. Boo.com (fashion apparel), 135M in funding, out of biz in 2000. . And it reminds of me of the years of 1998-2000, when the dot.coms seemed to be on fire too, only to crash and burn. This is because any vendor/platform/system could provide micro-learning since the start of the LMS space in the late 90’s.
