Bewildered on what is happening, why what is needed isn’t appearing as it should, and how is it possible that something so obvious based on where e-learning is heading, mobile is pushing and future tech is inspiring is lost among so many vendors? How many of you have seen vendors respond to your questions? A: Virtually every LMS vendor out there in the marketplace provides these features. When you see many of these awards from organizations – the general mass of them (but not all of them) require the vendor/company to submit an application for whatever category or categories. There is never any pay for play here – even my vendor clients are aware that they may not win best of the best. An additional note.

You can disagree and that is fine, and I’m sure some vendors will, but this is my take. I’m not saying that LMS vendors overwhelm people on the admin side, I’m just saying they tend to offer more feature capabilities than a learning platform. Actually, it is a total marketing term, but hey it works.

With over 180 authoring tools in the market and with the majority not as well known, picking just the right one can be as challenging as selecting an area to live. One sim tool I know costs 25K per license, but the majority of pure sim tools in the market cost way way below that. . 2004, AICC, PENS, TinCan) would be equally relevant.
