These are all parts of the normal ADDIE process , and it is an iterative process if practiced properly which is why it’s such a great process for creating training. Don’t tie it to an NPS score (those are useless for eLearning) but rather craft the survey with care. Always allow employees to write open-ended feedback.

We need to document data, clock our time, track projects, and all sorts of other things. As with most training, you also can’t see any sort of ROI if you don’t track user progress and identify areas for improvement. Just don’t use an NPS score for training surveys. What a joke that is. Sad but true.

It like playing Pac-Man and upon you losing all your lives, the game brings up your score and tells you some learning statement or two. Personally I think ADDIE is outdated, but if you live by it – go for it. . For example, I’ve seen games that at the end of them, show the top scores. What we are looking for.

I’m not married to any one philosophy, I typically run waterfall ( ADDIE ) on my really simple stuff, because I can just run it through and get it done and it gets approved. LMSs are amazing, because they offer a lot of tracking data, and they can help you recommend courses to people and know what people have taken.
