I first thought this to be a limitation of HTML5 (first article was for SWF output) and tested it out. It is important to know that I am using version 11.0.1.266 (CP2019), Windows version and tested in Chrome/Edge and Firefox. I have asked to update to the recent version 10.0.1.285 but didn’t have any feedback yet.

Initially I thought this might have to be exported as a SWF). Here’s the longer version – I have a slide with two images on it and I would like the user to be able to click on each image to have it enlarge and center in the screen, almost like a lightbox effect.

If you want to publish a project to be accessible from any device, you have to ignore the still available Captivate SWF output! Responsive Project with Breakpoint Views is available since version 8. For the Breakpoint version that information is stacked and Hide/Show is used. Overview Workflows. Only HTML5 output can be used.

What I see when I create the animation and preview it inside captivate is completely different from how it appears when viewing the published version. The effect time is set to last for 1.6 Other issues I have noticed in both local/LMS versions : The timing seems off all the time. second period doesn’t look right.

But when I run Preview or open the live version there are issues. And when I look at the slide in the published version it is different again. This effects nearly every slide in the project. With the end of life of swf and more browsers locking out swf files, I have been forced to find a solution a little quicker than anticipated after our IT department made a change earlier than expected. I recreated the animation in after effects and photoshop and created a gif that works wonderfully in my test environment.
