Product Review – Percipio by Skillsoft

One of these platforms is Percipio by Skillsoft. Channels and Playlists – Standards in the LEP/LXP market, hence just listed here. Percipio though can accept AICC, SCORM, xAPI and CMI-5 (win!). What though became confusion was again getting back to the nomenclature of how Skillsoft defines a course.

Courseware LMSs – Good or bad for the industry?

Maybe you purchased it via Open Sesame, or Skillsoft. Skillsoft – The behemoth of the courses/content space. A key factor is that Skillsoft has acquired many course providers in the past and with that have good and bad mixed together. Skillsoft I find is very flexible in this regard (as a whole). Course rating: B.

Course standards are course standards, and yes, you have the option to select CMI-5 and xAPI. What I am finding is that AICC is nearly gone in the LEP space (as it is with LMSs too), so if I was you, I’d seek SCORM, SCORM 1.2, xAPI as my top three. A standard feature in the LEP space. They should.

One of the most interesting items which presents to me an unknown variable is CMI-5, a compliance standard (formally with AICC) now headed up by ADL. I agree it will be the next generation of a compliance standard, but I do not see it having major impact in 2015. – don’t. – don’t. courses). .

Skillsoft and the wording of SumTotal right next to it, I wonder when it will be formally known as Skillsoft SumTotal or SumTotal by Skillsoft , rather than Skillsoft and SumTotal Systems, a Skillsoft company – whew, I’m out of breath just saying it. NO SCORM or any course standard.
