I jumped straight into it without referring to the instructions, and while I’m familiar with authorware, I expect it’s intuitive enough for Average Joe to work it out too. I was using DazzlerMax and Authorware, which are superior offerings for creating courses. When they went course aggregator, I saw them as a nice alternative to Skillsoft who was off acquiring other course providers including NetG and then down the road, Element K. At the time, I hated it. Thankfully, Taleo isn’t around to buy.

They provided just enough to make us dangerous with HTML, Flash, Photoshop and Authorware. No, I do not use Authorware now, but it is hard to predict what will be an essential tool 10 years down the road. Most of which gave me a good baseline for further developing my e-learning development skills.
