His classes are more like learning communities now. This frees up class time for more activities and less lecture. I think Edmodo gives a platform to some of my students who rarely speak in class. My next venture will be to use Snagit to record audio feedback on important assignments for particular students.

When I go over a topic in class, I try to do it in 3 formats. Programs like Camtasia and Snagit allow me to make short, quick tutorials that I can reach those kids with. Another thing it helps with is when we have curriculum nights at school where parents sit in on their children’s classes for 30 minutes at a time.
