But it will only be useful (cost effective) in very high stake training. There is also growing interest for XAPI and 70:20:10. But for many purposes this quality is sufficient. No it won’t.

Oh, and not the first vendor I’ve seen this route, but that was more than a decade ago. There are vendors who pitch they have it, and there are folks who oversee L&D who still believe in it. There are vendors who show it as a playlist or offer multiple playlists. One Term that Should be Kicked to the Curb.

Due a recent rib injury, I will not be at DevLearn this year. Besides the usual of mobile and video (more on that in a sec), the biggest requests these days are for xAPI, custom domain control and LRS. There are LMS vendors who believe they have found the right solution to these concerns. . What’s Hot in the LMS World.

Since, I walk around and look at the vendor booths, etc. DevLearn – Las Vegas – Good show, and IMO, this year’s was the best one yet. Well organized – a must show for e-learning vendors in 2015. And the winner is… DevLearn, Las Vegas. Secondly, I looked at the expo/trade show itself.

The spin is that you can accrue points by reading an article, taking a course, leaving comments, ranking content, completing an assessment and so on – varies among vendors. For some reason a lot of vendors, erroreously assume that modules is widely used – it isn’t. Then there is Tin Can aka xAPI.
