While, I can understand vendors who would rather not offer a “talent management or performance management&# option, the decision to ignore social learning, is strange. It is not as though, social learning is going to disappear. Complete app sharing between learners – video, audio (.mp3,mpeg),pdf, for example.

I’m sorry but watching a video link, is not engaging social learning in my book. Yes, YouTube is a form of social media, but so is Pandora, and I’m unaware of any LMS vendor enabling Pandora in their system. But, the reason I constantly bash this into e-learning vendors heads is they just DON’T GET IT.

I never found course creating on par with playing an X-Box game. Mobile Player app – Major stinker. Player – edit the player properties. Video – from file, from web site, record webcam. Final Word on the Mobile Player. Nope, never.until now. Main reason IMO, that the product is desktop.
