You buzz the assigned project manager or tech support person and listen to the whole “we hear you” and get back to you verbiage. I see two factors: Person really doesn’t know the product inside and out and so they tell you want you want to hear. Person is all about sales and not about you. E-Learning 24/7.

It may have broke all past records, since I walked into many booths who were using their mobile phones (3G/4G) for higher net connectivity than the $600 (don’t know if that is per day/or one time fee) for Wi-Fi – which more than a vendors were mad they had to pay for such poor service. Personally, I think they crush the monsters of midway aka CoD et al. eLogic Learning ($$-$$$) – Another solid performer who continues to get better and better. There are those who provide the first year free of customer service/tech support. Customer service can be personalized and turnaround time is fast. Very poor customer service and support. Mass customizations – You want the LMS but it requires major customization beyond what they provide to their customers at no charge (as part of their service), again realistic to get an estimate. The e-learning industry still has a long way to go to show the value in the acquisition or building of a LMS or Learning Portal. Personally, I think LCMS and CMS as a standalone are deader than a doornail. It is your TOS (Terms of Service). Personally, I like a filter system on the back end.

Narrative transcript – When the person says “dog” it goes right to the video text transcript where the word “dog” is shown, often this is displayed on the VLP screen (not on your video) with specific clips, so you just click the clip which already contains the word or words and watch it – and yes see it.
