Bookmark feature is interesting, but with this one item – Saba’s past UI issues appear – too bad, it has an spin on the bookmark concept.epub file upload that worked, which is rarely seen in any file acceptance of other social learning systems and even the majority of e-learning solutions to begin with.

Voice SME (very nice) – connect with SME. Social learning is based on incorporating social media types (whatever you choose) and e-learning. Too many vendors (inc. Plateau) see social networking as a wiki, blog, profiles, a bit of communities and RSS feed. E-Learning 24/7.

Social media sites that focus on gamers are in the top twenty of most visited sites. Online gaming, and not just Farmville on Facebook, is exploding. Look at the e-learning market and ask yourself, if the consumer market as a whole is using this, why wouldn’t vendors in our space follow suit? I know I would.

A surprisingly number of vendors who offer some form of social learning, whether it is the minimum – a FB like page, micro-blog, even some form of app sharing or collaborative tool, do not have any social media on their site. If you have a Gmail account, you can sign up for free to use Google Voice.

I have those every weekend, so why as an adult learner do I want it as a benefit to learning? Another one on the rise for LMS vendors and honestly, e-learning vendors as a whole. You should be thrilled to know that my singing voice is really poor, so writing the song sounds so much better.

As the camera goes over the buildings, a series of voices say, “something is going on down there&# , well in the LMS world; something is going on down there. E-Learning Vendors, Giveaways and Drawings. I have had a few vendors contact me about drawings for their products to end users, and have held back.

I’m not saying that e-learning vendors who follow the “trial” and give us your credit card mantra are following this approach nor are they doing so in a nefarious way, I’m just giving you some insight in how companies that use this approach, see value in it.
