That’s all fair, and we should seek to accommodate as many people as possible in our pursuit of effective training. And yet that’s effectively what is happening when we present text visually and then have someone say it at the same time. Why don’t we hear that? Because it’s not true. Think about it. And you’d be wrong.

This is a tool you use to react to something you see, hear or do and an opportunity to create a voice. Retweet – A great way to find your own voice is to use existing information (other people’s Tweets) and tell others what you think about it. People want to learn something from you. I think of Retweets as blog comments.

Weve taken this up before and many of us IDs know the strategies for using audio most effectively by now. As Im ramping up in my new job, Im talking with my new Kineo colleagues about everything under the sun. and what can we do now that we have digital voices that we couldnt do so well before? (This has happened to me!)

Nevertheless, their voices are deeply etched in my brain, and I could have picked any of them out of a lineup if we were going by voice and not visual. Or is it substituted by other tools (how effective?)(web How simple and effective is that eyebrow raise? And how effective is that substitution? For example.

Im not sure if the SME was reading a script, reading the notes, or just speaking from the heart. My argument is that if the information is presented as 'real' conversation it is more believable, more engaging and ultimately more effective. In this economy it is hard to justify professional voices, actors, etc.

I tried to make more effective use of audio. Cammy: Although I like to think Im good-humored, I am leery of "humor" or "fun" (scare quotes are deliberate) injected into training like salt water into a frozen turkey. Im glad youre on board with my ducks! Im particularly thrilled with using scenarios (naturally :).
