The most important trend, in my opinion, will emerge as L&D continues to embrace xAPI. As course and content development platforms adopt the specification, as learning record stores come online, and as LMS providers offer LRS support, xAPI will emerge into what I call a “geek-free zone” in much the same way that SCORM has been for years.
