Administrator side is equally pleasant, with ease of use, nav friendly playing a key role. Role focused capability & groups (common in every LMS solution). Wizards for the Admin side – Genius!

Geolearning. When GeoLearning changed to Express, I was fortunate to stay with the more advanced one – and still received updates.  Today, very few vendors offer this depth. Vendors expect use cases. The challenge hits on what the vendor considers Enterprise to mean. Bookstore. E-commerce. And it worked well.

Oh, and not the first vendor I’ve seen this route, but that was more than a decade ago. There are vendors who pitch they have it, and there are folks who oversee L&D who still believe in it. And in 2002, many more – I used Geolearning – it offered lots of informal options. Or that they offer an LXP module.

In my upcoming NexGen Leader Pack (coming in late July), the majority are LMS vendors. I think as systems evolve with Gen-AI and the LLM, tailored can get even better – but we are still so very early; any vendor that says “100% we do it,” there are always, “What about this?” LMS vendor.

What has been applying is the term mobile learning and how it it pitched to consumers in the e-learning sector, especially with LMS/LCMS/Learning platform vendors. If at a minimum you can implement at least one of these features (and yes, there are content authoring tool and LMS vendors who have it/working on it now), that works for me.

The role of the learning leader is shifting from being a program manager to a solution architect. Interestingly, it's Xyleme - an LCMS vendor that is sponsoring the site. Flash will still have an impact (at least in the area of mobile learning). Training department staffing will grow by a modest 2%. Here's what came up.

Well, because they kick-ass for their view of the role of the LMS. Some vendors will integrate LMS and CMS functions. Some LMS vendors will add CMS functionality to their offering. CMS vendors may develop modules with basic LMS functionality for their platforms. GeoLearning. Generation21.
