I slide associations under B2B, because you are providing education/training to an audience base that is external (the main focus). Under the Multi-Tenant (some vendors refer to them as portals. That said, this is a very robust and strong system, and it just slides by. The old legacy term would be extended enterprise.

Classroom management is a mix bag, since some folks want features within it, some don’t want or need the classroom management, which is ideal for ILT. Some vendors are now tossing in a free custom domain – which rocks, but does not slide under my minimums. I mean facilities management? It is for classroom based. .

It is my belief and has been, that the reason these systems, regardless of who they are, fail for the students, in the long run, is the synchronous approach which is nothing more than sticking the ILT classroom approach online. . Parent Portal with message board. Mobile driven with this offering. Resources library.
