Cornerstone Acquires Saba. I viewed the buy as more of what it told me about Saba, rather than Cornerstone.

Sure in some cases it did poorly, but it wasn’t because the idea wasn’t sound, it was due to the way the learning was presented. In the early 2010’s, I remember talking to Saba, who told me privately they say themselves as a performance management system, while publicly pushing themselves as an LMS. Bottom Line.

LMS or LXP – Confused?

Metrics – They offer it, but rarely will it be as robust as an LMS (as a whole). But generally speaking, reporting and metrics tend to favor LMSs, and some learning platforms. Reporting and Analytical data i.e. metric visualization. I can count on my two hands the number of LXPs that have built-in e-commerce. .

Very modern UI/UX, administration side is strong, metrics/analytics are quite good. Metrics are solid. While I like the metrics as a whole, it is missing items that really could tell me via segmentation what is really working. The Ferrari of UI/UX for metrics. Metrics out of the box are weak. Lots to like here.
