As a speaker and someone expected to have a pulse on what's happening, I thought this was mildly interesting.

Wikis - Public vs. Controlled - Why There's No eLearning Wiki

18, 2006 - see [link] - which aims to address exactly the issues I'm discussing below in Wikipedia. Theoretically, ASTD's Learning Circuits or the eLearningGuild should do it right? Update Sept. I received an email asking me if I knew of any Wikis that provided information on eLearning concepts. Why isn't it happening elsewhere?
