In 2011, I saw quite a few items that resonated. My take is that some systems with such features, perceive there is a market of those who are not interested in such solutions from Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, Lawson or Workday. I will admit it is one of the most disappointing features that failed to deliver in 2011. Social Learning.

Another small trend is providing advanced admin capabilities in the form of admins who have CSS, Flash,PHP or other languages. Toss in the integration of ERP solutions (Peoplesoft, Oracle, SAP, Workday) and HRIS systems into the mix and you will see why this is growing. The use of geolocation – available in HTML5.
