How about – Litmos actually skinning the product themselves – as the majority of vendors do – at no additional charge or more simple click customization options. Currently, Litmos does not offer the ability for online/offline synchronization with a mobile device.

Learning Management Systems. Built-in help desk – It is on the rise and I expect it to continue into 2013. While many vendors pitch mobile learning they seem to be stuck on the idea that people are not interested in online/offline synchronization. A couple of vendors told me they think it will be a fad.

Despite overall consumer demand (not just within e-learning) for tablets, and numbers showing that tablets are outselling notebooks, e-learning vendors as whole are sitting back and waiting. Synchronization has now been completed. E-Learning 24/7. Frankly a few deserve coal in their stockings.

billion (Walmart, end of fiscal year ending in January 2013). I loved the term that vendors started to push in 2012 and continue to do so in 2013 – “scalability” It makes me laugh. M-Learning – native app, online/offline synchronization – supports HTML5. E-Learning 24/7.

the ability to seamlessly manage and synchronize assignment access, delivery, review and completion between their desktop PC and their mobile device(s). The impact here is yet to be measured or realized due to the fact that most enterprise organizations haven’t implemented let alone identified their mobile learning strategies yet.
