Simwriter from NexLearn. Finally, I had a chance to see one of NexLearn’s simulations – normally a Flash-based deliverable – running on an Apple iPad tablet using a new new delivery format they are working on. Another month, another trip to Orlando it seems and last week had me attending two different shows down near the Mouse House; Learning Solutions 2011 and CTIA Wireless 2011.

DECEMBER 22, 2011 [NexLearn] Immersive Learning University -- Upcoming Conference
The conference is sponsored by NexLearn, creators of SimWriter (a simulation authoring tool). This is going to be a great conference, first, because I'm doing a keynote address, second, because I'm also speaking on Situation-Based Learning Design, and third, because this conference will have some very unique elements. In addition to me, the conference highlights other experts in learning and simulation. Dr. Richard Saetti will speak on using cinema and simulations. Brandon Andrews and Dean Fouquet will talk about mobile simulations. And the list goes on.

Its nearly Halloween and with that comes the shocking and fearful excitement or lack thereof of the scariest things on the plane appearing at the movie theaters, in costumes, television and for us, the course authoring tool market.
