At one time, you could be “certified” with AICC and yes certified with SCORM, but why would you want to be? I’ve never heard someone say, “Sheesh, I need an LMS that is SCORM certified, or what your authoring tool is not AICC certified? I still see course libraries that are only AICC. Here is my take.

Strange, since I could find no evidence, no information from multiple research standpoints, that Microsoft pitches it an authoring tool. Yes, you can use it for many different things, and yes, Microsoft has an add-on that turns PPT into something similar to Adobe Presenter. Welcome to 2016. PowerPoint is presentation software.

LMS365 is relatively brand new and ties directly into Microsoft Office 365. The system is going though some changes, and a new release is scheduled in the winter, which I surmise is Q4 or Q1 2016. Plus why are you AICC course standard? SCORM yes – AICC? Another dated standard – great about 15 years ago.

Rebuilding in Microsoft PowerPoint. If you want to select the entire screen for recording, Office 2016 allows you to do this easily by pressing the Windows logo key+Shift+F. Rapid recording is easy with Microsoft PowerPoint, but you need to give your team enough time to get it done. Building in Microsoft PowerPoint.
