Less vendors scanning people’s ID badges, which I found interesting. A couple of vendors used their iPhones to scan, which I thought was clever. For PPT lovers, you can synch video files with PPT with drag and drop. You can also connect the iPad PPT to a monitor and show it there. It is 100% bogus.

Jesse saw a post where I pointed to slides from a recent presentation and he commented: A PPT slide deck is a horrible way to convey anything significant. How about a link to audio, or better yet something like an Articulate Presenter or Breeze presentation that combines the audio and the slide deck?

The fact that this is one of the general sessions at ASTD TechKnowledge is interesting way to start 2009. 2008 Prediction #3 => Authoring Tools - Captivate and Articulate Will Dominate It rhymes and it's an easy prediction that these two tools will dominate authoring. Okay, so Captivate and Articulate are doing very well.
