It would be great for the worker to learn to write more efficient reports but learning to do so is not a work product. We aim to exceed expectations.

This makes using something like google docs or pbwiki as an experiment somewhat difficult for the poor, lonely learning professional. My experience at ASTD recently was that most people were completely unaware of all of this.
