Nor did I include the advanced analytics which again is included in the platform for very large enterprise clients. Or they do a wonderful job with some, and not all (ahem Degreed – that other reports and metrics?). SumTotal for example did a nice revamp, but their reporting is super outdated. Jasper has to go. .

I bring this up, because after it was announced that Cornerstone will be acquiring SumTotal, the pundits went out and espoused some very interesting ideas. I never put innovation and SumTotal in the same sentence. SumTotal was never innovative. Enterprise and Large Enterprise, but also with smaller size businesses).

Learn Amp – Very strong system, with lots to like, metrics vastly superior (Product Review later this week – i.e. March 18th – Think Post St.Patty’s). Absorb LMS – Another similar to Docebo, metrics and administration a slight edge over Docebo. I thought about alpha, but I’m too lazy.

When I attend a show, I know who is good, who is a time waster, who has no clue about the industry, and who gets a lot of attention, and will waste your time with amazing pitches and very little in the system. SumTotal – you buy every mod – HCM. Strong in Enterprise, customer education, SMB too. Customer Ed?

I should add, that the end-user does not “buy” this content, you as the client does, and then you provide it to your learner base for free – even your customers (which I recommend, if you are doing B2B/B2C aka extended enterprise). A huge increase in 2020 for small business/small enterprise – far more than in the past.

Can metrics and data be accessed quickly and will it tell the story of the learning or training? Metrics and Reporting. to work but showing only what is completed on your metric side, isn’t as key, especially for customer education/learning. Access competes well against SuccessFactors, SumTotal, Kallidus and Talent LMS. #9
