Even though many elearning applications have their own audio tools, I usually don’t use them. I may for quick projects, but generally, I like to keep my audio production separate from my elearning course production. Audacity is probably the most popular of the free audio editors. And the price is right. January 30 (London, UK).

While I see Amazon Kindle on here, for ebooks I assume, there are plenty of folks who buy books (hardcover and softcover), so why isn’t Amazon itself on this list? Tablo – Since ebooks are technically a learning by-product, then how about creating your own workbooks, ebooks, etc. To me, this is not a learning tool.

They want to know about free tools that they can use to build their elearning courses. Audacity is an open source audio editor. I usually record my audio directly in the rapid elearning tools. That’s easy to do with Audacity. When I’m done I just import it into my rapid elearning course. Moviemaker.
