Social Learning Communities It was interesting that ASTD DC / Todd Slater has created a Ning community. My belief is that we are going to see lots of virtual communities created as it makes sense to aggregate outside of a local geography for common interests. 1 - "Self-Directed Learning" Increases Due to economic pressures, companies are going to reduce training budgets to a point where it doesn't make sense to create content on marginal topics. Corollary: if you have SharePoint installed, you will be using SharePoint a lot more this year.
