With all its advantages, Articulate does have a few bugs – although the company did recently release a patch for Presenter ’09 that resolves a large number of bugs [view the whole list of resolved issues here ]. Missing lines in graphs - The PPT graphs sometimes don’t convert properly to Flash, leading to missing lines.

Flash Widgets One of my biggest issues with Captivate as a serious eLearning tool, up to now, has been the limited feature set and the difficulty in extending that feature set. Widgets are specially formatted Flash swf files that know how to communicate with the host Captivate project.
