Dreamweaver was not created for people to build courses in, rather it was created for people to build web sites and other web related solutions. A novice could learn it and do some things quicker than Dreamweaver. Most people find this to be a really nice offering and a real competitor to Dreamweaver. Quanta Plus.

CBT Prior to online learning known then as WBT, and then the latter term of e-learning (vendors today, use it to refer to content that is online), there was CBT. CBT was the “new” and exciting way to learn. Then comes along AOL (did you know folks still have an AOL e-mail account? I used them).

I think my dinosaur status as an instructional designer stems from the fact that Ive always worked for e-Learning vendors where the programming, graphics, and ID are distinct, separate job roles.
