It’s the move from being an ‘instructor’ to a mentor, a facilitator. When you look at the larger picture, as you talk about: user-generated content, etc, the notion that you can *manage* this activity becomes somewhat ludicrous. And you don’t want to manage it so much as support it. Great stuff.

Acquistions – Someone had an idea

The system used to have a lot of potential, so the first thing to come up with was what they referred to as TIM (think a mentor thing that helps you). When they went course aggregator, I saw them as a nice alternative to Skillsoft who was off acquiring other course providers including NetG and then down the road, Element K.

BOB MOSHER – CRYSTAL BALLING WITH LEARNNOVATORS

Bob started his career in adult education with Element K (now Skillsoft ). It made the new employees happier because they were more productive quicker, and it reduced shadowing and mentoring programs that required a lot of heavy lifting, as well as obviously the lack of drain on the classroom. And I absolutely agree with this.
