Studio has always been known for the PowerPoint to Flash approach, but it also includes audio narration, TOC (yeah!) This is an extremely easy product to use and IMO the reason we have a huge rapid content authoring tools (regardless if you think that is good or bad), because IMO I believe that they were the first ones to do it right.

Remember when only a few offered the PPT to Flash option in their tools? Mobile Learning. Hmm, oh yeah mobile learning. The rapid increase in mobile learning is tied directly to tablets. Despite a few vendors who are living in 2009 in the mobile learning space, overall growth while solid, will continue to grow.

As previously noted, there is a continued increase in vendors who are supporting mobile learning, whether it is by having a stand alone mobile learning platform or integrating it into their system at no additional charge. I should note that there is one vendor who has their entire mobile platform on a USB jump drive. Other News.

Mobile learning – it might surprise you to know that 75-80% of all systems in the space, currently do not offer any type of mobile learning, the number goes up even higher for online/offline synch. Q: I use Articulate, Rapid Intake and other 3rd party authoring tools, will they work in any LMS? A: Nearly all.
