SharePoint is so flexible and the documentation for it is so big and diverse, that a big part of my goals have been to understand the different ways that training organizations are using SharePoint. But in discussions there were often distinctions based on what the work team or CoP expected. These would be external consituents.

I've run across a few different posts talking about Personal Work and Learning Environments which I have tentatively started to call PWLE - pronounced p-whale. This is talked about a bit in Personal and Group Learning Using Web 2.0 How do we quantify or control something that is so unique to each of us? Just do it.
