While some view themselves as “social learning&# savvy, incorporating various components, others seem to see themselves as just sitting on the sidelines. Twitter has APIs, so does Facebook, even Linkedin. Here is just a few of ones I like, that are unique and you could use in your LMS/LCMS/CMS, Learning Portal (caveat: your vendor must be able to accept APIs, otherwise it won’t work). Examples: Post your status update in Linkedin and it appears in Twitter.

More of a surprise is that with the exception of 6 web conferencing vendors, who have apps specifically for the iPad/iPad2 market, you can count on one hand the number of LMS/LCMS vendors that offer the same thing. AR offers amazing capabilities in e-learning, not just courses, but from a LMS/LCMS/learning platform as a whole.
