Have everything clearly defined – with deadlines to complete the work or specific requirements that the individual must do to get to the next step – the final assessment. Some certification programs do a mix of project work (individual projects) and a final assessment, some just do the project options, find what works for you. .

Assessment Tools – SaaS is the way to go, and the ones in the market, are either very basic, or they can do the basics and go far beyond to extensive assessment feature sets. I am a personal fan of Questionmark, which is in the latter group, but the UI needs a major update ( I am told it is on their roadmap for 2021).

Assessment tools including Online Testing Tools (even online proctoring) (ProProfs, ClassMarker, Questionmark). Some of the more intense ones, still use a hierarchy approach, and the utilization or actually, the recommended and standard approach of Chapter-Page-Lesson/Assessment/Scenario as their nomenclature. . Majority of learning systems out there, at least in LMS space, can integrate quite nicely with Oracle. Questionmark. Yes it is a top-notch SaaS assessment tool and it has a lot of functionality, but the UI is dated and needs major revamp. Award category – Time to retire your tool, product, etc. The jury is out.
