The way a 3rd party content provider works with an LXP (or any learning system that offers a marketplace) is that they have a partnership agreement – allowing the vendor to have them in their marketplace. That is definitely not changing. It was clear that not even LXP vendors (as a whole) knew – which explained why they targeted L&D, ignoring the other monster in the room, training. On top of all that, the LXP vendors (as a whole) pushed a false pretense that the LXP was vastly different than say an LMS.
