Our tools still require the user to work in the Flash environment, but you really dont need to know Flash. I think about this topic a lot.

Every software interaction and menu is explained in detail. So the vendor scopes it out and does the design work, the storyboarding, the development work. In my opinion, we can not use Facebook as a Learning Management System but we can use Facebook as a tool that will enhance/support an e-Learning course.

The bonus of so many of the social media tools we use is that our pictures are attached. Or is it substituted by other tools (how effective?)(web If I notice Im losing someones attention in class, Ill instantly make direct eye-contact, maybe raise an eyebrow, and start talking directly to that student, and most of the time.

Mostly software training, with bits of process and product information thrown in for good measure. Lots of software interactivity. Schedules dont always work out, so more often this is a one-on-one tour of the software and the content notes with the trainer. Sometimes have to record new audio. You never know.

So, in the interest of trying to be more of a geek and trying to play hard with all the new tools that are out there, I went ahead and installed it. Other benefits of working with two monitors: 1) Have a source document open on one screen and be writing a proposal/storyboard/script on the other. My first impression was, why bother?
