From products that ranged from the latest versions of RCATs to new vendors in the space, including text to speech. . Back in 2000, the knock on rapid content authoring tools were they “pre-template” driven solutions.

Send over a course that already has been created (whether it is from your previous/current LMS or something you just put together) and have the vendor load it into the system for the demo, verify that it works – make sure it is the same compliance standards as the system. RCAT tools are not as easy as pie. Act professional.

When people think authoring tools, three products typically come to mind. And this product is by no means a five star solution.

MyUdutu - you will need to create a free account before you can start using the authoring tool. This is not an elite solution, but not a lot of rapid e-learning authoring tools are, however it offers simulations which is a nice benefit. While the solution is intriguing, it is basic and simple.

Dreamweaver was not created for people to build courses in, rather it was created for people to build web sites and other web related solutions. very nice solution although you will need mid tech skills to use it.
