COPs – aka communities of practice were a novel idea in the early 2000’s for online learning, first seen with WLAN or LAN networks. Coaching is not in cohort-based, and coaching is not the same thing as mentoring. We have to be in this group, with zero flexibility to switch to another if we so desire. Not Learning.
