It looks like it’s time to open up the wallet and start purchasing software upgrades. In the past couple of weeks two important eLearning software upgrades have hit the virtual streets: Adobe CS4 came out this week. The CS4 Web Premium bundle now includes: Dreamweaver CS4. Flash CS4 Professional. Photoshop CS4 Extended.

Instead, it was someone from Macromedia Dreamweaver, which is software for building websites. Studio drove the market to the point of going into Storyline, which is nothing more than a PowerPoint converter. It’s simple to use, creates a course in just a few minutes, and usually, it isn’t very good.

So the upgrade goes to a reduced price for the first month, but they know it’s going to come in at the full price the second month. And our up, what did you call it?

I give the team credit for what is obviously a faster upgrade cycle, as compared to the old 18-month upgrade cycle. Don’t get me wrong, there are some nice new feature in version 7, however I cannot find that game-changing feature that I think every software upgrade needs to have, the ‘killer app’ if you will.

Josh agreed and learned Dreamweaver, HTML, and CSS for building websites. Josh’s business on YouTube was 100% referral based, where he earns a commission if a product he shared ended up converting to a sale for the product. So he learned Dreamweaver and basic HTML/CSS code. and from there Josh dove further into graphic design.

Paul started building websites and using multimedia tools like Dreamweaver and Flash animation in his work as an adult educator. So I have the flexibility, which kind of goes back to that rapid application side of things with Dreamweaver back when I was doing that kind of thing. He has over 138K subscribers on his YouTube channel.
