I can’t speak for the seminars, well, I can speak of mine – and the feedback I heard was that a lot of folks really liked them. As for the seminars, I admit I did not attend them, but I did see loads of folks listening to the bonus presentations on the show floor. Why as an e-learning vendor you should attend this show.

Ability to take online courses and register online for seminars, webinars, etc. The system has a lot of potential and I would place it into the LMS/learning platform space but geared 100% towards competencies and skills. The product is more than just a video recorder device, rather it is a narrow focused video learning platform.

I did not attend the seminars – the comments I heard about the session times were from others – but I did hit the expo floor for two days and it did not disappoint. I was surprised though that mobile from an e-learning standpoint did not crush. E-Learning 24/7. ASTD bags – always nice.

I saw a lot more folks than in previous shows and more e-learning vendors too. Equally there were several ILT vendors who had some type of online learning thing going on. Seminars in general – As with any show, there was good seminars, average and downright awful. Some of the seminars.

Charge for webinars – The days of a hybrid model where you did ILT (seminars) and did some webinars (via web conferencing) are gone. On-Demand is far better with usage, than going only live – whereas numbers will drop due to being on too many web meetings. They can integrate with any learning system out there.

Demos – 50% of the time, but 50% of the time – vendor sends you to their web site – specifically you can visit us at blah blah. The downside to the latter is how many people after the end of the day, many of whom attended the seminar sessions, remembered the url of your web site? Best Product I saw.

Scheduling simplicity – it shouldn’t take someone with a doctorate in genetics to figure out how to sign up for a seminar or whatever.
