I pointed out that HTML5 is an alternative publishing format to a SWF. Unlike SWFs, projects published as HTML5 will not only play on the Apple  iPad, iPhone and the iPod, but the lessons will retain any interactivity that you added to the slides (such as click boxes and buttons).

It seems like the only thing I can pinpoint it to is adding Random Question slides linked to a pool of questions. It loads fine without the slides, but once I add 1 Random Question slide, it may or may not load, but it definitely won’t load once I add more than 1. I even tried changing the Preloader to 25% with no luck.

Last year, using the same programs (slightly older versions), and processes, I published these packages as swf files, and the audio played without any issues. If you forgot, you ended up with an ugly thick grey bottom border on all slides. I suppose all developers are aware that the final death of Flash Player, SWF output will be there sooner than expected. For SWF output you had the choice: it was possible to change the default setting which was to have a movie playing automatically after loading. Mostly I duplicate a slide from the project to create such a poster image, Duplicate because it may need some editing, especially if you also want to have a better looking Play arrow.

In the SWF Size and Quality area, I set the quality to Medium. From the Project Start and End area, I added the company logo as the Preloader, set the Preloader % to 50 , enabled Fade In on the First Slide , and set the Project End Options.
