What they didn’t touch too much on was the guide you reference in your third principal. Perhaps because these folks were the guides themselves, or maybe the role of guide was spread among multiple participants, or perhaps (but I doubt) there was no official guide in these projects.

You cant just start making quests though.you have to acquire "data points" which allow you to buy "items" such as lampposts which guide people through the quests. You get points for plowing through the quests. There are some intriguing possibilities here.

There were also issues with the rooms.oops forgot to print the rooms for the sessions in the program guide. I mean it wouldnt have taken a lot to stand up an Attendr map for the event. The HUGE name badge with the whole schedule on the back was cute but hardly functional. Why the waiting outside of the rooms before sessions?

Ask them to go change the words “sales person” to “marketing professional” in all of the materials for an instructor-led course (instructor guide, student guide, handouts, PowerPoint slides, etc.) and you get that ‘pained expression” as they think about going into multiple files and making edits one file at a time.
